I gots’ed more flowers yesterday!!! :D This year was probably the best Valentine’s I’ve ever EVER had, if I can say so boldly. (And I know there’s one more rose to come, Devon… :D)

- I had a midnight surprise from a close friend who brought me probably the coolest thing, a wooden rose! It’s so soft and smells good!! It’s now sitting on my headboard.
- I had multiple compliments on the dress I wore (which I’m kicking myself for not taking any good pics of it). It’s the same one I wore for my 25th birthday, but it looks a lot better now (my hair’s longer and I’ve lost a little weight since then).
- Someone told me, and so seriously, that I was one of the most beautiful women they’d ever meet (or seen, I can’t remember)!!! That made my day! And was so nice to hear verbally as opposed to something similar only through text or implied. It really does mean more when you can hear the person’s voice when they say it.
- I had probably the best Valentine’s date!! He brought me roses as seen here. We went to dinner at Amura, had awesome food, great company, and then went to see The Vow which was better than I expected. (Found out that his boss almost kept him later at work, and then saw a pic of me and told my date to leave! Haha, how awesome is that?)

All in all, I couldn’t have asked for better. And given last year’s Valentine’s Day was two days after we found out my Borders was going to close, and then three months later my boyfriend dumped me, I think I was owed a good V-day :D
